The John Jay Homestead Farm Market is a weekly outdoor, certified market which provides the finest New York-grown, fresh and seasonal fruits and vegetables, seafood, breads, specialty items and more on a historic farm setting. Every Saturday, customers can expect to find certified organic and biodynamic produce, ethically-raised, organic meat and eggs, as well as a wide variety of artisan food items with dozens of weekly vendors. While at John Jay Homestead, patrons can also enjoy a walk, sight see, and explore flower, herb, and vegetable gardens or picnic on the historic grounds of John Jay Homestead. Members Only First Pick Members of Friends of John Jay Homestead provide invaluable support for our education and public programming. As a token of our appreciation, we are offering an exclusive opportunity for Members to shop the Market from 9:00am to 9:30am before the general public. Not a Member? Grace Farms

The Living Classroom program series invites guests to learn about nature from different aspects of the "living classroom" that is Grace Farms' 80-acre nature preserve. Living Classroom runs monthly from September to November and is led by our Horticulture Advisor, Kimberly Kelly. Explore the Meadows Saturday, September 9 | 11 am – 12 pm Stroll through the meadows and discover the diverse plant communities that weave together to form a highly functioning tapestry of life. Meadows are a community of plant and animal life that conserves water, suppresses weeds, and creates a four-season landscape. Recommended for ages 12+. Nature’s Palette Thursday, October 26 | 11 am – 12 pm Walk through our nature preserve and learn the science behind why trees have such a diverse and eye-catching color palette in the fall. Recommended for ages 12+. Citizen Science Family Workshop & Scavenger Hunt Saturday, November 11 | 11 am – 12 pm Journey through the nature preserve using iNaturalist, a citizen science app, to record observations of the surrounding biodiversity for the global scientific community. Recommended for ages 8+.

Silvermine Art Center’s Artisans Market: A Dazzling Display of Fine Art and Craftsmanship

Mark your calendars for November 11th and 12th from 11 am to 4 pm as Silvermine Arts Center hosts a spectacular event with 15 talented artisans. This not-to-be-missed fine art and craft fair will feature a diverse range of art, including ceramics, clothing, fiber, jewelry, sculptures, and exquisite wall art. This event provides a unique opportunity for art enthusiasts to engage directly with the artisans themselves. On display in Silvermine Galleries will be the Holiday Salon - the Gift of Art (Nov 11th - Dec 23rd) offering affordable works of art by our Guild of Artists working in a broad range of styles and media. But that's not all! Silvermine Galleries Gift Shop will be expanded for the holidays and brimming with unique and enchanting treasures for you to explore and purchase for all your gift giving needs. The Katonah Museum of Art 2023 Gala and Auction at Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Tarrytown, NY! Don’t miss out on our largest fundraiser and event of the year. We are thrilled to share that during the event we will be auctioning off works by artists Ali Banisadr, Carol Bouyoucos, Cai Guo-Qiang, Wu Chi-Tsung, and Wu Jian'an, as well as conducting a lively paddle-raise. View these auction lots below. This year’s gala has three ticketing options: A Full Evening Ticket that allows entrance to the Cocktail Reception, Seated Dinner, Live Auction, Awards Program honoring artist Bisa Butler; Jennifer Indig, Founder of the Fern Hill Project; and Peter W. Kunhardt, Jr., Executive Director of the Gordon Parks Foundation; and the After Party. A Cocktail Reception only ticket for those who want to start the night off with us, but then move on to other plans. An After Party only ticket for those who have earlier plans in the evening but are looking for some late-night fun and dancing. All proceeds directly benefit the Museum’s General Operating fund.
