Move with Grace Farms x lululemon | Yoga with Jane Krantz

Join Jane Krantz for a yoga class promising to be a fluid experience, centered on moving through transitions with grace & finding stability in order to move with freedom, awareness, and expression. Starting with grounding breathwork, Jane will guide you through movement that will ignite a little bit of heat and a lot of joy, ending in a restful savasana. Move with Grace Farms x lululemon is a series of monthly movement classes hosted in partnership with local lululemon ambassadors. These classes, for all levels of experience, focus on restoring and igniting the energy needed to live a more balanced life. To enhance the wellness experience, each class includes a cup of tea from Grace Farms Tea & Coffee, a Certified B Corp, picked specifically to complement the movement.

Join us for a lively summer afternoon with bluegrass singersongwriter Rick Snell! Steeped in quintessentially American genres, Snell’s music encompasses influence from blues, folk, jazz, and country. His playing, nostalgic and energetic, is sure to get the entire family up and dancing in the Sanctuary aisles. Snell founded and hosts Mona’s Bluegrass Session, where audiences can gather to hear the best bluegrass music in New York City. In 2022, he played the mandolin/guitar chair in the National Broadway tour of Oklahoma!, and he currently subs the guitar/mandolin chair at Fiddler On the Roof at New World Stages. He has toured nationally in support of Regina Spektor with Only Son. This seasonal music series is curated by our Music Director, Marcus G. Miller.

Nature’s Classroom | Dragonflies and Fireflies

Embark on a guided nature walk with our Director of Horticulture Kimberly Kelly to discover the lively habitat and amazing life cycles of dragonflies flying around Cattail Pond. Kimberly will also discuss the mysterious life of fireflies, and how the presence of both insects is a sign of a healthy ecosystem.

Journey into the World of Tea | Chinese Oolong and Pu-erh Teas

Explore the fascinating world of oolongs and pu-erh, tasting samples of green oolongs form Taiwan, dark oolongs from China, and compare the stark differences between a raw and a cooked-pu-erh. Journey into the World of Tea is a tranquil and in-depth exploration of tea offering guests a taste of different notable varietals from cultures around the world, examples of demonstrations, and more. This six-part series is led by Tea Expert and Educator, Frank Kwei.

Chef’s Palate | Crafting Tea-Based Mocktails

Learn how to mix your own summery tea-based drinks! Experiment with ethically sourced herbal teas from Certified B Corp Grace Farms Foods while learning how to craft custom-made mocktails that can support any wellness journey. Chef’s Palate, hosted by Grace Farms Founding Pastry Chef and educator Leah Jones, is a series of educational conversations designed to inspire new perspectives on everyday ingredients, groceries, and meals. Chef’s Palate encourages a broader understanding of the complex ways in which food intersects many aspects of our lives. Jones has more than 15 years of food service and culinary experience and has been with Grace Farms since its opening in 2015. She leads recipe research and development for all baking and pastry programs. She feels strongly about creating a more sustainable and equitable food system, both locally and globally, and upholds a zero-food waste approach when it comes to baking. She holds a B.S. in Baking & Pastry Arts and Food Service Management from Johnson & Wales University.

This 45-minute barre-less barre class is a no-impact class focused on flexibility and total body strengthening. This unique method blends components of ballet, yoga, and Pilates. Danielle’s personal intention as a teacher is to create an inclusive and fun space for her students. Her highly curated playlists and personal attention to her students ensure an encouraging and uplifting environment in her classes. Garden Workshop | Garden Harvest for Donation

Step into the Community Garden to learn harvest techniques while picking summer vegetables, fruits, and herbs for donation to our local food relief partner, Person to Person. This harvesting experience brings you up-close to native flowering plants that provide food for our foraging bees and includes a honey tasting and cup of iced tea. Gardening Workshops invite you to explore sustainable, native-friendly, and eco-conscious practices that can benefit plants, animals, and the planet. Each hands-on workshop, designed to align with the season, is for all levels of experience.
